Senya Saigyouji: yeah that’s pretty accurate on the animation cost. Animation is really expansive and most get sponsors for their animes to cover the high costs. But its good to see that it has a really large fan base. It’s also nice to meet you, yeah I’m part JP from my dad’s side of the family, so right now I’m trying to learn Japanese and maybe one day visit Japan and some family members. π
@-.- HollowBattousai I’m glad you enjoyed it!! Unfortunately, the creator is suffering from a bit of development hell at the moment. From what a friend told me, (he claims to have developed a video game, so I’m pretty sure he has some idea of what he’s talking about) animation costs 10-100 grand per minute depending on quality. So as of right now, Manpuku Jinja is limited to Promotional Videos to promote Yuuhei Satellite’s albums and singles. Nevertheless, I couldn’t believe my eyes either. Senya Saigyouji: wow that video left me speechless, even the fan dub sounded great. I’m the kind of person who has to watch the anime in its original language. (Also because I’m part JP and I feel closer to my roots that way XD) I really like the animation style reminds me of 1990’s animes. π
@-.- HollowBattousai Although there is no official anime of the series because the creator of these games forbids it, there is one fanime that rivals any bigshot animation superpower in terms of quality. As of right now, the creator, Manpuku Jinja has created four Promotional Videos, and one sixteen-minute doujin animation based on the 7th game, Perfect Cherry Blossom’s events. From what I’ve read, the eleventh ending theme in this anime is sung by Mayumi Morinaga. I can confirm that she, and the Touhou doujin group, εΉ½ιγ΅γγ©γ€γ’s main vocalist “Senya” have identical voices.
