Ok, I tested SD backgrounds and they look good.
Anyway (as I explained to SeedyEvil in his Metal #4 theme) PS3 tends to slightly cut the SD image borders, so… the best way to avoid this problem is to create an image of 600×450 pixels inside a black background of 640×480 pixels.
