i was wondering if it was possible to have animated icons using an APNG like this demo of my icon http://i1285.photobucket.com/a.....b92a7c.png it is a png file , im hoping there could be a java script and xml made to run the ANPG inside the original java/xml ?

you mean having animated icons on themes?? i've thought of that before too but i highly doubt thats possible now.. not even sony has themes like that. i think the codings would have to be completely changed and it would complicate the theme too.. it might even freeze or crash the ps3 you never know since it would be too many icons animated at once... lol

all the png icons are converted to gim format man so your theory wouldn't work 
.... tho you could put an animation behind the chosen category icon like I did in a ps3hax theme last year fella

that was hella sick id be willing to learn how u did multiple animations like that ill be on top of that one from day one hahahaha
