@DemiGod7: Yep, I agree: the video looks an ad, if not even a fake (but that Sarah Greene is very cute... lol! )
We just have to wait and see I guess...
Well, the first systems on the market can obviously have some manufacturing defects, but over time the production techniques can only improve.
However, looking back, Sony was much better than Microsoft, given that there were more Red Rings of Death than YLODs... I saw tons of 360s piled in the service centers: for each PS3, there were at least 3 XBox360 (that's why I bought my 360 some years later), and that's because - the way I see it - Sony's always looked more at quality than quantity.
While my PS3 60GB Fat lived 6 years, lot of people were already forced to get a new 360 after less than 1 year because of the RRoD: well, maybe I was just lucky, but I'll keep on trusting Sony anyway...
Also, yeah I agree about Microsoft: after the XBox One's reveal, they've been literally flooded with negative feedbacks regarding the absurd features implemented in the console... so, they changed policies just because they realized they would never made money by selling a console like that. But it's too late and, in my opinion, they simply made a fool of.
Not to mention that although if they've eliminated those features, you're anyway forced to get that damn kinect and keep it always connected if you even wanna just turn the console on (and here's the higher price)... unbelievable!
So, no thanks, Microsoft: I don't give a f**k anymore about your exclusives... you'll never get my money for your "XJoke One"!
As for the bundle, well, I don't really know.
Actually, anything has been said about possible bundles here in Italy.
I'd like to buy PS4 along with Drive Club, or maybe Watchdogs, or even both. We'll see...

@OPTIMUS
I heard about that thing with RROD, and I was informed that this stopped way back in 2009, when another Xbox was released....also I've heard diferent people saying they changed 2 PS3's in one year and they had YLOD's and stuff. It's very much luck based and for your 60GB Phat to be still working and playing The Last of Us, it's a feat. It's a museum item, you should put it on a pedestal with glass all around haha.
Let me sum up Xbox for you:
Gears, Halo, Forza. How about nope. From the dawn of days back in PS2, I had zero interest in such games, I always had my God of War, my Garn Turismo and whatever generic shooters were coming out (except Black, Black was awesome). And what, there are two things that "interest" me as far as XB1 goes: Killer Instinct and Titanfall. Surprise surprise, Titanfall is for PC only and KI is not a system seller...
But, I digress because someone here might be excited for both consoles and I am not one for bashing something that someone wants....that and I don't want console wars because the almighty "lock" hammer will come fro admin and hit my topic on the head

=> uLtRaMa6nEt1c: Well, now I really think we'll have to say goodbye to XMB and its customizations...
=> DemiGod7: LOL! Don't worry, mate... we're just talking about our opinions on both consoles and the reasons why we would be likely to buy one rather than another
Fortunately, I've never been a fanboy who likes to make console war... my point of view is that the gaming cannot be one-way: if you like to play, then you'll play whatever you like. So, if you like Halo and Uncharted, you'll play on XBox and PS3... if you like GT but also Forza Motorsport and Mario Kart, you'll play on PS3, XBox and Nintendo Wii/Wii U...
So much for the exclusives, but also in case of multiplatform games the speech doesn't change, only thing is that in this case you can decide on which console to play the games you like.
That's why I always owned all consoles (except the few ones that didn't interest me for real, of course). Well, I have to admit I always preferred Sony since the days of PS1, but I never despised to also play on other systems, simply because I like to play.
But things now have changed... with these new generation consoles, Microsoft has proven not to be really interested in gamers, while Sony has kept things almost unchanged. Sure, both Microsoft and Sony are companies that in any case need to earn money from their products, but in Microsoft it seems they don't want to understand that WE - the gamers - are their money... but if they want to get those money, then they have to take much more care of us.
Instead, they made a console which was full of restrictions designed only to get the maximum gain for them and their partners: now they're trying to remedy the absurd situation they created but, as I said before, it's too late and for me they lost that little credibility they still had.
I'd really like to keep on playing on all systems (and I have to say that Killer Instinct would be a good reason to buy XOne, since I loved the original game), but for me it's not worth spending my money for a console like that, especially considering that I should even pay 100 € more just because the console necessarily needs the Kinect to work (an accessory that I would never use, among other things)...
This is Mark Cerny. Someone might call him a genius and he won't be at fault....this man, over the years, has worked for Atari when games were first being made, for Sega, he has worked for Crystal Dynamics. He was the first American to receive a dev kit for the PlayStation, he is the man behind franchises like Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank, also Knack and he is the chief architect of PlayStation 4. I urge you to watch the whole video, I for once had fun listening to the guy speak....
@OPTIMUS I agree, KI and Titanfall were the only ones that mildly interested me during the MS Press Conference but neither is a system seller cause in the long run.....I care more about GT than Forza, and I have zero interest in Halo and Gears. I rather see what Naughty Dog and Santa Monica are up to. Also, apparently, PS4 is a superior machine to XB1, hardware wise and software wise....but still, as I said, I couldn't care less. The console simply doesn't appeal to me.

@DemiGod7: Yeah! He's been (and he is) one of the pillars of video gaming industry!
Ooh maaan, I played and owned all the stuff shown in that video, starting right from Pong... that's real history!
And I better realize how old I am... LOOOL!
Well, yeah, ps4 specs look far superior than XOne... however, as I see it, the real difference always lies in the ability of developers: the more good they are in exploiting a console's specs, the more powerful will seem the console itself.
You know, consoles are like a blank canvas, their hardware is like a brush and developers are the painters...
As for the XBox One: well, I approached to games like Halo or Gears of War a bit late than other gamers and... although I have to say they're good games, honestly - despite what many people say - I've never considered them as real "killer applications" (it's fun to see how nobody uses this term anymore, lol!) so, yeah, Killer Instinct is not that game that really makes you want to buy the console, and I think the other games like Forza Motorsport, for example, can now only be considered as the classic "more of the same".
Also, I too am not so "fascinated" by XOne...
Well, in terms of design, I actually have to say I don't really like both consoles:
- PS4 looks like a paperweight with an integrated blue light in the middle (no matter how elegant they say it may be)
- XOne seems the very first VCR I bought 30 years ago (and they even had the nerve to say it's been created by 27 designers???)
LOOOL!
@OPTIMUS not much to say about Mark, the PS4 is made by a gamer, for gamers. By developers, for developers. Apparently, it's as easy to work with as PS1 and many, many times more powerful.
I also have no interest in such games, and some people have replied to me "You're not a true gamer unless you try both". And then I'm like "Dude, it's not a McDOnalds burger. These systems cost hudrends of euros, I can't afford them both so that I can be a true gamer like yourself". But whatever, I digress....
Also, OPTIMUS, why you do this
Here I am, I uploaded a new theme yesterday (waiting for confirmation) that showcases the light bar on top which I really like and I had to make a custom wallpaper for the theme.
Hah

@DemiGod7: Yeah, I agree: gamer for gamers, developer for developers... That's exactly how a console should always be.
Well, my friend, don't worry about what they say: a true gamer is not necessarily the one who buys all consoles and plays all games at any cost... in that case, there would be no personal tastes, and so the variety wouldn't make sense anymore.
A true gamer is simply the one who appreciates games for what they are... then, he obviously makes certain choices by following his own tastes, but in any case he likes gaming for what it is.
(a McDonalds burger... LOL! )
Why I do this?
Ehm... what???
Good, I'll be waiting for that theme!

=> uLtRaMa6nEt1c: Great news, mate, can't wait to see it!
(Green...? Why not blue? )
=> DemiGod7: Yep, an ULTIMUS theme is coming...
It's the dynamic version of my "PS4...?" theme I uploaded weeks ago: it should have been out before the official unveiling of PS4, but something went wrong and it has been put on site on June 11
Well, users liked the theme enough, but many of them were disappointed because the PS4 versions depicted were just concepts (if they had read at least the description, they would understand why)
So, Ultra told me to give him the background and the other elements, so that he could make it dynamic: now, the light bar thing sounds new even to me, so... I'm really curious!

LOL @DemiGod7
@OPTIMUS - I didn't do anything crazy with the lightbar on the controller. I just made it light up. There are 4 colors on the lightbar, red, blue, pink, and green. Like the the Move controller. I used green because the blue got lost in the background.
I didn't realize that the blue strip on the PS4 was supposed to be a light. I was thinking of making it glow too.
