hey guys, I'm getting my very first ps3 very soon and i wanted to make themes, I have everything downloaded but I'm curious how to download themes, i want to do it correctly the first time so i dont keep screwing up, it would be great if you guys could help thanks!

Hi, mate!
First of all, welcome to the site!
1) If you mean "how to download themes from here" in order to put them on your PS3... well, it's quite simple: in a USB key, you just need to create a folder named PS3 (all in caps) and inside this folder you create another one named THEME (again, all in caps).
After that, you just need to download the theme you want and transfer it inside the THEME folder.
Then, put the USB key in your PS3 and go to "Settings" ==> "Theme Setting" ==> "Install"
So, choose the theme, install it and... voilà, les jeux sont faits! 
2) If you want to start making themes, it's a little more complicated to explain...
If your OS is WinXP, you only have to install PS3Theme Builder 2.5 and 3.0 versions.
If your OS is Win7 or Vista, you need to follow these steps in order to make Theme Builder works properly on your computer:
-Install PS3Theme Builder 2.5
-Install PS3Theme Builder 3.0
-Download the 4.0Beta files from here
-Replace the 3.0 files with the 4.0Beta ones
As for start making themes, you just need to search around here: you'll find a lot of stuff I already explained to many people, and lots of tutorials made by my friends here like GLOWBALL, FAXTRON and others...
