Why can't you guys add the option to rate a theme from 1 to 5 stars and the amounts of downloads on a theme?? I just checked out your new psvitawalls.com and the site has it..

There was already that kind of rating system, but time ago it caused several problems, especially to me and Yogosan (lol, the site owner knows what I mean)...

Well... long ago, there was a guy (that I prefer not to name here, but you recently mentioned in your God of War Dynamic theme) who always had to argue about the rating system: he basicly said the system was not regular, because in his opinion it was specifically made to reward just the same theme makers.
Well, the theme makers he meant were me and Yogosan...
The truth is he was literally obsessed by us (but don't ask me why because I don't really know. Maybe just because we were the most appreciated here...)
Anyway... he was banned, so he started throwing shit on me and Yogosan, saying lots of bad things about us on several other sites.
But one day, a new guy came here: at first, he seemed ok like many others, commenting and voting and appreciating our themes... but after a while, he too started arguing about the rating system, saying the very same things of the guy who was banned before.
The site owner found out he was the same obsessed idiot, but under a new name: useless to say the mess that literally exploded in that period... the guy kept to deny being the same person, but he kept to accuse the site of favoring always the same themes creators (ie me and Yogosan, in his sick mind), and the admin kept saying him to stop lying, because he had been discovered.
(Lol! The admin even posted an image depicting all datas of that guy's internet connection, to definitely prove he was the same person and a lier)
After all that mess, that guy's literally vanished and nobody's heard of him anymore...
So, when you mentioned him in your theme... I didn't tell you anything, but I nearly had a heart attack, lol!

I AM THE GUY... Lol just kidding imagine haha.. But i think it's too much of a stretch to get rid of the rating system for that incident. I mean if the guy hasn't been heard of anymore then what's the point? And i always say to ignore people like that because they're looking for attention lol. When you don't reply back, you don't give them something to nag about or bitch about you know? I think he was probably just jealous that you guys were destroying him since his themes were not getting attention while yours were lol!
But anyways, i think they really should bring back the rating system since it would give theme makers an impression of what people think of their themes and what to do better.. or at least a like and dislike button that shows how many likes and dislikes are for the theme and it wouldn't hurt to add a downloads counter lol.

The ratings system was abused by many people, voting 5 stars for their own theme and 1 star for everyone else's themes. It was very time consuming trying to moderate it.
Maybe we'll add a like/dislike button, I'll think about it.

I think a like/dislike button would be simpler. And plus, you can make registered users only be allowed to vote, guests would have to register in order to have that privilege. Also, every user can only vote once for a theme and won't have the ability to vote for their own theme. I think this would work perfectly if you decide to add it.

Yep, that was another problem:
a lot of people were amused to add stars to their themes, lowering at the same time the ratings of all other ones: this way, their themes quickly reached the first position in the chart.
Well maybe, like you said, a button like that would be useful...

Some kind of rating system should be up there. Taking it down because of one guy shouldnt have stopped it. Banning his IP should help stop him for the most part.
I dont know how it was before but it seems like posting themes are really not linked to the usernames here. You upload it and the site owner manually puts them up. If each theme was linked to the accounts here, it would probably be easy to regulate things like only being able to vote once per theme, and not being able to vote for your own theme, right?

I think feedback is much better, but a simple + and - system like the comments would be cool so that some creators know where they stand. Highlighting who's best rated is a big no for me cus yes it will then be abused.
Loving the new ps3 button background BTW that may force me to upload a cool theme

Back when there was a rating system, I stopped rating all together anyway because it was broken.
I do like the "Like/Dislike" idea.

i got something, how about, when you view the pages, put a number from page 1 to 100+ or whatever, because i have been clicking now for days, and i dont know when the hootnannie it is going to stop, really, i would like to know, how many pages there are, so i can click for the pages i want, because it starts at page 1 right, and i need to go to page 50,
but it doesnt exist even if it does, i still have to KEEP ON CLICKING until i get to page 50, you CAN how ever input the number 50 in the internet adress bar and GUESS that it exists, or you could just PUT A LINK on the bottom of the page, that makes you click 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or... well, you get the picture
(i am in NO way, trying to tell yall what to do, i JUST saying, i aint even super saying it, im just saying...
clicking from page 1 to page 50 can take a while, or you can put it in the internet adress bar,
OR, putting HOW many pages there are would ALSO be nice, so that if you wanna go to the last page, YOU CAN...

can you get banned for installing these themes on your ps3, because i called PLAYSTATION HELP DESK in europe holland/netherlands, AMSTERDAM
AND THEY SAID, I CAN DO IT, IT IS NOT A PROBLEM, IT IS NO! WAY A PROBLEM, but then i contacted PLAYSTATION CUSTUMOR SERVICE online and they said, if they find non authority propety files on your console you will get BANNED, ill copy post the message i got...
"Thank you for taking the time to contact me in regards to your concerns about installing themes onto your PlayStation(R)3 computer entertainment system. At this time, getting a theme from somewhere else and putting in on the system is like putting unauthorized software on the system. It is possible that if we detect the unauthorized software on your system your could get banned."
yep, and this is what he said, but i told him, PLAYSTATION HELP DESK said it is legal, and i am awaiting a mail from them,
he mailed me on 28 march i opened it on 29 march... so, maybe in 2 days or so he will email me back...

and in (home page) themes, it has over 400 pages, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH THATS WHY i never came to an end, haha

and i still didnt get a mail back from the PLAYSTATION CUSTOMER SERVICE, im still waiting, its 1 april now
as i said, in holland/netherlands in europe, in the city of amsterdam, i called the playstation help desk,
and they say, ITS PERFECTLY LEGAL, and yeah, thats all i wanted to say...
i DID tell the one from PLAYSTATION COSTUMER SERVICE on the internet site, that, well, how can you BAN me for putting
a self made theme, but you dont BAN me for putting a self made picture as wall paper, ISNT THAT THE SAME?
and i DO have wall paper that is unautherized,
