So i was in a popular text chat, and then i ment this nice guy, he was funny and nice. Well i knew him for a couple of weeks and he always played nbk 12. I told him the story of my ps3 always mesesing up at 85% with every game patch. Well thats not the problem anymore. Well anyways, last night, he said hed give me a code to 20$ card. Well he said he needed my emial & psn password. Well i gave it to him, then he said, "let me play nbk some moor" Then i waited 5 mins then he asked how old i was, then he asked what kind of games i play. Then after all that, he called me a troll then the next thing i know, I got some pop up saying "password is incorrect" Then i tried to sign in right after that happened and same thing happened. Well then i hit the "frogot password" buttion, then i put my date of birth And then it said "this information is incorrect". Well i tried again this morning and same thing happened.
If some body has a good idea of what to do, please let me know.
If somebody would hack into my account then change my password then let me know in a pm, that would be great!!!!

DAMN dude. I can't f*ck wit u. I told you what to do. That was the only easy way to fix it. You got suckered. Now you gotta create a new account. DAMN. And you STILL need to reformat your PS3. sheeiT.
TO EVERYONE: It's probably the safest bet to delete 'michaeljedi' from your friends list because it isn't him anymore. You might get spammed or something. That person probably aquired his PSN email too. Don't send anything to it.
And knowing is half the battle...G.I. JOOOOEEEEE

I don't even play my ps3 anymore becase of this shnit. I got better things to do bysides playing a dam ps3 all day.
Instead ima play my ps2 all day, lol.
Seriously I feel soo bad, even if i do get my account back, hes probaly deleted all my friends, or told them to go f themeselves.
I just don't care about my ps3 anymoore. Im just gonna do other things instead.
This sucks. Admin, what do you have to say about this? Can you give me some advice?

It's like basic knowledge on the interwebz that you DO NOT hand out account/personal information like that to anyone unless you know them REALLY good and can trust them 100%!

@ps3 admin, LMAO! i had that comeing. Man i need a new hobby, psn was the only place that i would talk to peopole 24/7. I was gonna let him get free stuff from me. (gameshare)

Just realized i got a email on my zombiejedi97 on yahoo, that my password has been changed. But it dosen't give me any info about that. I could do a chat but you have to type in all this totaly not needed info about your email and bla bla bla.

does it say anywhere in the email something like "if you are unaware of this change click here" .. something similar or maybe a link to re-change your password.. anyway if not then you should call sony ASAP since you have proof on your email.

Ok. i called them & they said that they will reset my password. But i have a link in my email and if i don't reset it in 24 hours, my account will be lost forever. No pressure right? Anyways i hope that guy still cant sign in to my account can he? Well tonight ima reset my password & im telling nobody! Not even my dog. Well il tell my mom, but thats IT.
But can he still logg into my account right now???? i feel better.
Anything i should be nervous about?

Once you have access to your account change the password. You may want to create a new email and change that too. You'll be safe. He won't be able to log in to your account. You really got lucky.
After that, convince your mom to let you reformat your PS3. You'll lose save data if you don't have PS+, but at least you can download stuff again. You do it from the settings menu.

Ultra. Expplain how the reformat thing works. I might just do that. Depending on how long it takes or how much is at risk. If i uploaded all my data, wouldn't that take ages to download? My internet is slow ya know.

definitely change password and email. that's the smart thing to do.
reformatting will take awhile and erase ALL data. your PSN name, email, password will stay the same. you will have to download EVERYTHING again.
on your PS3 go to settings - system settings - format utility. follow directions. that's the easiest way.

Well, ima call sony today & ask them what to do about my patch problem.
I might have to do what you said, if they cant help.
