Sorry to post another topic so soon but I had another question regarding animation clips.
I noticed that some of the pay themes available on the PSN made by Sony devs are definitely video clips and some are in HD and run loops for 8-10 seconds. I am wondering if there is any other method that the devs might be using to display these clips.
I know this may not work but the documentation for the xml scene file says there is an element:
Animation:
ID - ID string accessed by scripts
File - Path to .dae file exported by DCC tool
Start - Start Time
End - End Time
Do you think it would be possible to use this element to point to a video clip that was simply exported from a program like After Effects? After Effects, among other programs, has third party COLLADA exporters available. I'm just not sure how it could be used. I guess I'm just hoping that there is a way to specify in the xml that a video clip needs to be played and be able to play longer clips.
Thanks.
