I'm trying to make a dynamic theme for the first time. The tutorial is helping so far, but I'm stuck at the "DDS Save" action set and "Apply" action. The NVIDIA property box doesn't appear in Photoshop to add the settings listed. This may sound like a noobishly dumb question but.....that property box isn't only for NVIDIA video cards, is it? I'm running my Photoshop on a laptop with an ATI Radeon graphics card. Thanks in advance for the help.
Figured it out. Had to do some digging in some other threads. 
I'm reading the tutorial but none of the links work. Is there an updated tutorial somewhere?

Sup guys,
Been a while, I was busy with life and finally managed to finish my Persona 4 Theme, including having the MultiCharacter version. Thanks to uLtRaMa6nEt1c and to all the tutorials by GlowBall.

First of all i should say thanks to Glowball for this great tutorial. I also have a question: The "var duration" command sets how long each layer shall be shown, but is it possible to set different delay times to individual layers (like how you can set different delays on individual frames in gif animations)?

Thanks man! Glad you like it! Yeah, I uploaded it a while back, but it takes a bit for themes to upload here. Had to do it as you said, upload 1 theme and then put a link to the multicharacter theme in there. It ended up been like 88MB, that is quite a big theme. As I said, hopefully I can make another theme later on.
I will try to do something interesting next time, but will have to wait to get an idea and have the time. lol
Also I have new links to download the theme, unfortunately I don't think I can update my PS3 Theme upload in here. If anything, it those links will be in my Youtube channel link that I put there.

You can update the theme here by re-uploading it and in the description type that it's an update to an earlier version (put the name of theme you want to update), and any other changes you make like links to previews, etc. When the theme is updated it keeps the comments and the likes from the first version. You can also type that you want to replace the earlier version which will do exactly that and reset the comments and likes to zero.

when i get to the part where i have to do the automate and then click batch, i get a window that says "the object layer"layer 1"" is not currently available. could anybody help me with these.

do i absolutely have to use photoshop cuz theres none on my pc and theres no 100% freeware to get it. is there an alternative program i can use? email me pls

my problem is that whn i open border.dds it shows that my video will play on the side thats not gonna work with me. i like my videos in the center not on the side, i just cant do anything about it cuz according to the forums my pc must support 3DS my pc does not. but my biggest problem is that no matter what i do i cant even get a raf file what the hell

The reason why the video is on the side is so the icons and text don't overlap it, but u knew that. Yeah, to change it u need other programs. It's a headache if ur looking to keep things simple. Usually the raf doesn't compile because ur missing a file/files or the names aren't the same. Usually. Make sure all the names of ur files match the names in the xml. Make sure the name of the js file is the same too. Make sure everything is in the same folder as the raf compiler. Drag xml to raf compiler. When done correctly the raf file will be in the folder with the raf compiler, not in the temp folder. I'll help u more tomorrow when i get off work.

sorry im late but i had that problem too.... turned out u recorded urself clicking on layer 1 to save it. lol to fix that press stop then click layer 1 to select it then press record again then continue to the save thing. ull only have to do this IF only layer 1 wasnt already selected whn u go to create the action steps. got it?

You must verify that the DDS are renowned exactly as the js and xml files. If you use the method of automate on Photoshop to create the DDS files Photoshop automatically make the DDS and renowned all the DDS and put numbers on it like this : (01,02,03….). But the JS and XML files are renowned without 0 on the first 1 to 9. So you have to verify that and if this is the case remove that 0 that appear on 1 to 9. Example :
From this 01,02,03,…09 to 1,2,3,…9 and then try to compile the RAF again.
About resolution :
Full animated themes : In 87 frames 640x480, 34 frames 1280x720 and 15 frames 1920x1080
Animated Window theme : 640x360

oh god i am so screwed pls tell me the max frames on the animated window theme is NOT 87 AND PLS TELL ME I CAN HAVE 105 FRAMES PLS PLS PLS i can limit it to 87 but then i wouldnt be able to use this clip as i will have cut too much even 1 less frame will screw up the clip 🙁 oops i missread it only said i had 105 cuz the 1st clip stars at frame 36 lmao i actually have 70 clips my bad hahahaha

Hi everyone
after having spent several hours, trying to understand and making error. I make a successful animated theme hd 1080p. Here is a video of the theme, the video quality suck. and sorry for my english pitiful (im french canadian)

the theme looks ok to me i think the problem u "think" u have is in the clip itself with all the blurry headlights from the cars what id like to know is how u managed a full screen animation when the tutorial was for animated window

Full screen (no border) so skip the border editing part of the tutorial. Quality is low so You may have to turn the brightness down for this style. I recommend animation loops or gifs for this style."
