Ok GlowBall or Fraxton would be best to ask but i would say in photoshop go to the window tab at the top and click animation and you will get a timeline at the bottom there you can change the speed of each frame. If this does not help as i said GlowBall would be best to ask i have seen him saying something about changing some things in the  .js file. I have never done this so i cant advise you but as i said someone will help you just be patient.

@ angel7000

Here is how you change the speed of the animation/video clip.

1. Open up the .js file your using (AnimatedFull.js)

2. Find var duration

3. Now change the value of duration (lower value = faster speed)

That's it really easy Smile

BTW the value is measured in seconds.

Is it possible to play one animation just once and then switch to a separate repeating animation that loops?  The idea is to have a short intro play when the PS3 first loads up to the XMB before going onto its main animation.

Also, can sound work this way also?  Not really sure if dynamic themes even use sound at all, dont mess with them too much (always wanted to make my own instead!)

Not sure... but glowball is great and he might know if that is possible 🙂

@ kellyjaye

You can't have sound in a dynamic background. Of course you can change the cursor, selection and back sounds but no background sound.

Yes you could have play a short clip then move into the animation loop but the maximum number of frames is still 87 in total.

A tutorial for GIMP users would be nice. Not everyone likes to use Photoshop, let alone actually be able to afford it.

Its strange as im making an animated border theme and have a border theme raf so why does it say "animated full raf"?

I finally created a video to experiment with and running into a problem with your tutorial right from the beginning...importing the video into photoshop.  I did a search for NVIDIA DDS Plugin and everything would take me to http://developer.nvidia.com/nv.....-photoshop, is this the correct one?  Because Im not getting an option to import video into Photoshop (CS4) at all still.  Ive restarted PS and the computer also but nothing.  Is there a step Im missing to getting it installed?

Ok when you install photoshop you get an option to install 32bit 64bit or both just uninstall and install both. Importing video only works on 32bit.

oh so you can both 32 and 64 bit Photoshops installed or do you mean the plugin?  I dont recall seeing the option when installing Photoshop but I know the plugin came both ways.
