Hello,

I have installed both the builder and the update and put the files from beta where they belong but when i try and create a theme it does not show my images in the preview and it gives me a long list of errors once i try to do the test drive. I do not know if anyone else is haveing this problem but I could use the help. I do not try the test drive till after I have saved and built the theme. When i preview the theme by generating the theme it shows a pink like color with the orginal ps3 them line in it. Then when I go to test drive it comes up with alot of errors. Can someone please be so kind to help me on this.

But... does your theme work on your PS3, or not?

Anyway, you should give some more info because the problem you're talking about could depend on many things (like a missing file, for example)...

Also, I explained several times here in the forum the exact procedure to follow and how to solve some problems that usually occur when running PS3 Theme Builder on Windows Vista or 7: just try to make a little search around here... Wink

Try putting the MSVCP71.DLL and msvcr71.dll files in:

Computer -> C -> Windows -> SysWOW64.

Some people tell you to put in in System32 Folder, and that IS correct, but not for 64 bit Windows 7.

Just to be safe, I put both files in the System32 AND SysWOW64 Folders. Boot up 4.0 Beta and you SHOULD be set. Cool

Are you running Windows 7 64 Bit?

I've never heard of that problem. Try replacing your IconDefinition.xml with this one:

http://www.mediafire.com/?0359.....taalnueqwk

The file can be found on your computer at:

C -> Program Files (x86) -> PS3 Theme Builder

Yup. It's actually my edited version. It contains every Icon I use for my Themes. If you want to use it and it works, great. If you don't want to use it, then don't. Cool
