[NEW] Animated Theme Script.

Well this is new totally different from the first script released that was created and modified from the mustache.js. Yes a new code for animated themes. With those new scripts you will be able to create “Animated Themes” with a variant code.

Why I release a new animated script here if we have one ?

1. To have another alternative.

2. To take it as example for those that are like me trying to learn new ways to create themes.

Note : Feel free to mod the script with ideas if you knew how to do it. That is the reason I leave it here of course with open doors not with closed doors with useless encriptions. Beware if you don't know how to deal with mod in the script because you can semi-brick your console. So if you don't know how to do it do not make moddifications on it.

3. Because I want a free creation of dynamics themes without conflicts within users. Yes some user think that is the owner of all of this here and I can't tolerate those actions.

What resolution and number of frames are supported with those files :

1. 15 frames with 1920x1080
2. 19 frames with 1700x956
3. 34 frames with 1280x720
4. 65 frames with 920x516
5. 121 frames with 640x360

"The knowledge are free or have to be free" Wink

Knowing this let start with this process :)

First you have to know that this is not a Tutorial. Why ? Because we have to many tutorials for the same thing here. Yes to do this you have to know the obvious “ How to create animated themes” For that you can follow a few tutorial here because the process to create the Raf will be the same always. The only thing that will be different will be the files used according to the method.

Tools you will need to create your theme :

1-Photoshop or Gimp to manipulate the video and the images. I prefer for this Photoshop but with Gimp and some pluggings you can do the job.

2- NVIDIA DDS pluggins for Photoshop to save the images bgs to dds (DXT1 RGB 4 bpp | no alpha)
https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop

3-Notepad ++ for edit .xml or js if needed.
http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v5.9.3.html

4- And the exes and files to compile the raf. Are the same tools used for the creation of SlideShow, Animated or Dynamic themes. Nothing is new here.

5.**OPTIONAL** Finally our DCC application in this case “Blender” and Why ? Blender, because is a free open source 3D content creation suite that you can use without problems to save your files in DAE format needed for our purpose. Optional with this now but I recommend the download if you want to continue making themes and follow tutorials on this site.

http://www.blender.org/download/get-blender/

Things you will have to know :

1.This process envolve the animated theme creation so you will have to learn this first and for that you can follow a few tutorials written or created in videos from here :

Writed tutorial :

a.http://www.ps3-themes.com/forum/ps3-themes/how-to-create-animated-themes-tutorial

Video tutorials :

b.http://www.ps3-themes.com/forum/ps3-themes/animated-theme-video-tutorial

c.

**Ok; Now with the "New" files needed to create animated themes.**

http://www.mediafire.com/?a5dok26wblkrv80

I know the method is not new but the files are new. This is something necessary on the site to maintain a good and healthy site. I have other Tips, Tutorials and files to come.

I think my next contribution will be for the " SlideShow Plus". Here is the example video :

Cool

I don't think calling people names are really necessary here, it's very immature. If you can't express yourself without such nonsense maybe you should just stay quiet.

Aaww guys, come on. Everyone has their reasons for doing what they do. While I do like to customize and fiddle with stuff, I'm just happy to have so many options to choose from. I'm not a fan of the encryptions, but I can understand a couple reasons for having it. GlowBall and Faxtron have contributed greatly to this site and I appreciate it. Thank you guys.

I thought all advice was free. Can you stop saying "its free as always"? Thats what corrupts this world is the $$$ thing.
Not saying it in a meen way. But i thought this site was 100% free? no?

In my opnion ALL you guys that has commented, your themes should cost something in my opnion. They shouldn;t be free cus there soo good. Anyways I am not being mean but you always say free as always. If i had to pay for your advice i would lol. Considering it comes from a legend. And who is admin refering to? I dint see anything wroug with these comments.

Anyways keep those dynamic themes comeing. I value all of your themes as if i bought them, no lie.

Im not gonna make dynamic themes. Its the hardest thing to do with a computer. I dont even know how to accses my files lol. Some of the stuff alone is hard. Static seems a little hard, but dynamic is a much harder moor complex level.

first of all i'd like to Thank everyone hear who have shared there knowledge to help us create amazing PS3 themes, without u guys it would have been impossible!!!

now if i may ask a question?

i'm trying to create a theme with this script, where the background stays the same, an object i can create in Photoshop like a heart, ball, rectangle etc.. i'd like to only allow this object to change.

is this possible, if so how can i create this? Confused

p.s i think this is possible with the mini slideshow script as i think you can modify the frame but that only allows for a certain amount of pics.

@fonzfonzi
You may want to try the AlphaSlideShow scripts.
http://www.ps3-themes.com/foru.....e-tutorial
Go to that thread and check out GlowBall's PSVita AlphaSlideShow theme. Is that sort of what you are looking for?

Well there a few ways to do it and one is using photoshop to add that static part in all the frames. The other method is with the script XML adding the static image into the script to show that part static in the secuence you want to show it.

The other thing you can do is follow what says Ultra to check the Glowball tutorial for the Alpha Slideshow to see if with that method you can achieve that more easy :)
