I'll just dismiss all my experiments with the SlideShow and begin new ones with the SS Pro!!!

Thanx!!!

This looks relatively easy enough, but is it in reality? I would be interested in trying this in the furture Smile

In the XML file in the folder with the icons make sure you have these 3 lines (or add them if you don't): icon id: "icon_user" src="icon_user_1.gim.png"/ "icon id="icon_photo" src="icon_photo_1.gim.png"/ "icon id="icon_video" src="icon_video_1.gim.png"/ encased in arrows like the other entries. Make sure your icons file names match too.

Fist I want to say thanks for the great tut I'm in the progress of adding all my bleach wallpapers to a theme with the icons from the avengers dynamic theme with the semi clear icons. I made a bat file to convert the jpgs to dds then delete the jpgs for people who are not use to using cmd.

@kirbs open the .js file in notepad (I use notepad++). Look for 'slide duration' (I think that's what it's called) and change that number. Make sure you have GlowBall's updated files. You can get them from the first post in this thread.

Thanks for both the replies!! I'll go download that file and I'll let you know if I got it working.Smile

edit: Can't really tell the difference in speed and it won't create a wallpaper file if I go any higher then 6...oh well, not a big deal.

I don't understand your problem. I generally set my slide duration to 7.5. What exactly do you want to do?

I accidentally overlooked line 22 and instead edited line 54. But now I got another issue, the wallpaper bounces back and forth 3 times before fading out to the next wallpaper. Any way I can make it so it pauses still for 12 secs before it zooms in or out to the next wallpaper?

@kirbz
How many seconds did you set for each slide?

Hi!!!
I'm trying to use this SS Pro, but i have some questions.
1.- It only works with 7 images? How can i change the amount of images?
2.- I don't know even a little bit of programming things. I think that if i change something, it will go down with all the script. Could anybody tell me the line to modify the slide time and the "image" time? I mean, the time of the change-image effect and the time the image stands still. It's a lot difficult to me to explain. Cry
3.- One last thing. How can i remove the zoom in-zoom out effect?
GlowBall or uLtRaMa6nEt1c guys, help please!!!
Thanx!!!

@El Diablito
Yeah, 7 images at the most. It's because of the complexity of the script or something. You can have less than 7 images though. For example, if you have 5 images you would delete actors 6 & 7 and change the number next to 'math.floor' to 5 in the js script file. Delete the paragraphs with 6s & 7s in them in the xml file.
To stop the zoom, lines 20 & 21 have to be the same (15.5, 9.5, 49). If your TV's aspect ratio is set to 'just scan' change the 49 to 47. Do the same in the xml file.
To change how long the image is on screen look for 'slide duration' and change that number. By default I think it's set to 8.0 seconds. To change the fade effect (I think that's what you meant by 'change-image effect') look for 'fade duration' and change that number. Make sure you have GlowBall's updated files from the beginning of this thread, so every line in the js file doesn't start with 'GlowBall'. Good luck with your themes.

Hey, uLtRaMa6nEt1c!!!
Sorry, as i've said, i'm learning how to use the SS Pro.
I tried to follow your tips. Just one thing, To stop the fade effect, item no. 2, what should i change in the xml file?
There is "position="15.5, 9.5, 49" direction="0, 0, -2" up="0, 1, 0"".
Could you please tell what have to be changed?
One other thing. How do i know the "just scan" aspect ratio?
Thanx and excuse the boring questions!!!
See ya!!!

@El Diablito From your questions it sounds like you want...no fade, no zoom, but you do want random.
Change nothing in XML.
(now that I'm at the computer...)
-NO ZOOM- camera_start and camera_end have to be the same (15.5, 9.5, 49)
-NO FADE- fade_duration = 0.0
Most HD TVs aspect ratio is set to 16:9. If your TV is over 30 inches and less than 5 years old you should have a 'Just Scan' or Over Scan" option or something like that. On your remote there should be a button to change screen sizes from 4:3, 16:9, zoom, wide, etc. It would be there. 'Just Scan' shows the full image on screen with no stretching (great for games, not good for watching tv).
If you set your TV to 'Just Scan' you have to change 'camera_start' and 'camera_end' in JS file, and 'position' in XML to (15.5, 9.5, 47).
I'm glad to help.

Ok. That's right what i needed.
Indeed, i want the fade and the random effects.
I just wanted to remove the zoom.
Again, thanx a lot and i wish to stop the insane questioning!!!
Thanx!!! 😀
