https://rapidshare.com/files/6.....anager.zip confirmed working. i wasnt sure which ones are specifically the 4.0 files, i didnt wanna accidently move or delete them. just copy all these into your theme builder programme files and your good to go. the xml file is updated for all the latest icons (unless theres new icons in the new firmware update)Cool

Thank you so much! And yes, Sony ha added a new Icons, like the Minis folder and the TV section, but it's the TV icon, which has been there for the longest time but now they have used it. lol

Well everything is working, unfortunately I can't open the Icon Manager, it's causing a error when I open it. Hopefully I can figure out a solution for it. Thanks again!

They only renamed a couple of icons: Minis icon is now "PSP/Minis" and with the latest firmware (3.70) I downloaded just today, the TV icon is now "TV Services" or something like that...

So, you don't need to use the Icon Manager tool: all icons are already there Wink

Yeah, I can see there are several options there but I don't know which one is which, here are a list of the ones I notice:

Game File

Game Album

Default H

Default V

Those I don't know what they are. I wanted to update an old theme of mine and the icons I was missing are these:

1. Power Settings (is there already)

2. TV section (there already)

3. Video Upload (Is it Default H or V?)

4. Mini Folder (Is it Game File or Game Album?)

5. Chat Room (Text Only) (I thought it used the same icon as the "Chat Room")

That is it, I assume the previews 4 I mentioned are related to the ones I'm missing, but can you guys tell me which is which? Just to avoid doing the trail an error method.

Thanks!

<icon id="icon_game_album_default" src="icon_game_album_default_1.gim.png" />

<icon id="icon_game_default" src="icon_game_default_1.gim.png" />

<icon id="icon_default_v" src="icon_default_v_1.gim.png" />

<icon id="icon_default_h" src="icon_default_h_1.gim.png" />

<icon id="icon_video_upload" src="icon_video_upload_1.gim.png" />

<icon id="icon_savedata_minis" src="icon_savedata_minis_1.gim.png" />

<icon id="icon_chatroom_text" src="icon_chatroom_text_1.gim.png" />

NOTE : Icon Sizes - Game Album Default (314x178)

                              Game Default (322x178)

Not sure if the minis code is correct since the category has been changed with the new Firmware.

Into the themes XML file.

You should be able to figure out the correct place where to insert the appropriate code.

DEFAULT-H and DEFAULT-V, stand for default vertical and default horizontal. which means if a new icon is released, or if you don't have an icon coded into your theme it will be replaced by your default v/h icon. in my theme builder, video upload is right there in the video section, and the code for the minis icon is perfectly fine, it's under game, minis savedata. game file is a default icon, like you get for music files, but game devs won't ever forget to put a game file in there games so it's not really needed. i'v never seen it pop up anyway. Are you absolutely sure the minis icon isn't there? the xml i uploaded is absolutely perfect.

Go to the program folder and find the icon manager,then create a shortcut,as it seems it cannot be started through the theme builder menu.(winxp)

Hey,

I just don’t have as much time as I used
to, but here is a location for the 4.0 beta 2 release
You can download directly
@
http://www.lili-chan.com/4.0_Beta_2.zip

There is no installer, so
to get it working, you need version 3.0 installed.
Then you open the zip and
just copy the contents of the ZIP to the PS3 Theme Builder install directory
(Program Files (x86)\PS3 Theme Builder)
Choose yes when it asks to
overwrite files.
As for the IconManager, I still have a few bug to work out in the meantime here is a workaround:
Open C:\Program Files (x86)\PS3 Theme Builder
Right click on IconManager.exe
Choose Run as Administrator.

Oh wow, that worked! Even Icon Manager is running in Vista 64bits! Thanks you SBCroix!! Hopefully you can come back to this project when you have time. Excellent stuff!

And thanks to everybody else who helped, I bet this will help a lot of others too.

Wow, SBCroix in person! Laugh

Hey, mate... What happened to the site?
I mean, everytime someone had problems with Theme Builder on Windows 7 or Vista, I always said to go search for the Beta files you made on lili-chan/support and so on, but... looks like the site is dead, by now. What's wrong? O_O

In the PS3 Theme Builder, I can't find:

PSP Minis

or

Video Editor / Uploader
