@GODBODY27316: Well, depending on the program used (although nearly all programs have this feature) it usually happens that a picture is saved in JPG/JPEG format, but it actually is not...
The fact is that, as I said, many programs have a feature that allows to save an image file with the JPG/JPEG extension, but the file actually is a BMP, or PNG, or TGA, etc: that's why it happens that another program say the image is saved in a "non standard format"...
I suggest you to try re-opening your non standard format picture with the program you originally used to save it and see if it is "recognized" by the program.
If nothing happens, the only way is to edit that picture again and, when you're going to save it, pay attention if there are other parameters like "Image Format", or "File Type" and stuff like that: if yes, be sure all the parameters are the same.
So, if you save with the JPG/JPEG extension, you need to check those parameters and be absolutely sure they're set to that format
