I have always tried to get the best way to seamless loop a video clip well now i think i have found the best way so far. To see what i mean i have made a folder for you to download and see the result. The clips were made by me from scratch in after effects cs6 The unlooped footage is just that its a 5 second under water scene i created in after effects the looped clip is the same clip but i looped it using my method and its exactly 34 frames and you can import it straight to photoshop and see that its pretty seamless. So in short let me know what you guys think i might make a tutorial on this method i have given it to faxtron and he suggested making a tutorial so lets see.

Yes it will work with anything as long as its loopable by which i mean roughly the same from start to end. One thing i have been trying to sort is when i loop a clip in after effects its perfectly smooth but when i put it into photoshop to convert to dds it seems laggy same as when i put it on ps3 maybe you can shed some light on this for me as its very annoying.

I don't use After Effects, but if there's a 'frames per second' option you can change that may help. I use Flash when making themes. When I'm animating in Flash everything plays at the ideal speed, but when I convert to .swf to test it's super fast. Changing the fps makes the difference. I used to do a lot of roundabout shit to fix the speed until I figured that out. Because of this I'll be tweaking my 'The Avengers 3D Dynamic Theme' in anticipation for the blu-ray release. Also you can change the animation speed in the .js file (which I'm sure you know). Does After Effects let you work frame by frame?
