Version 2.5 installs and opens perfectly fine
When I install version 3.0 is when it goes wonky. After installing and trying to open builder, it gives me the message "PS3 Theme Manager has quit working" for half a second and disappears into the mist. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, even found different places to download the same file, nothings worked so far. I have .Net version 4 & I'm running Windows 7 on a desktop.
Can anyone help??
Oh well, it's obv it's cuz I'm running windows 7. Too late any way, I got impatient waiting for a response and figured out the coding to make the theme myself, good luck everyone else

You need to replace the 3.0 files with the 4.0Beta ones to make Theme Builder working properly under Windows 7 or Vista.
If I remember correctly, the creator of Theme Builder in person (SBCroix) put those files right here somewhere in the forum, but I don't really remember where 😛

Yeah OPTIMUS is right u need to install the 4.0 files u can get them from the PS3 theme builder tab at the top of the page. BTW I am using windows 7 lol 🙂

Just a quick one from me...
I had ALL the same issues as you guys when I went from XP to Win 7.
I found by updating to v4 and when I want to launch, I right click and pick "run as admin"
works fine now 🙂
Also, (not sure if it'll help) make sure all your drivers are up to date.
(look at your laptop/pc manufacturers website for new drivers)

Copy all of the 4.0 files to the ps3 theme builder install directory (overwrite the old ones).
I'm using Windows 7 and my install directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\PS3 Theme Builder. Yours maybe different good luck
