So, that means you probably know the mess I was talking about…
Well, the “gist” of my speech is the same: what I mean is that if you make themes with passion, the only thing you care about is the comments of those who really appreciate your effort and maybe tell you what’s wrong, instead of some guys that put thumbs down without commenting or anything else… that’s because they usually are just people who most likely have never made a theme and they do not understand how much work and passion are behind a theme

@OPTIMUS, Well I can’t say i’m quite new my first upload here was in 2008. That sux about creepy stalkers. He probably wanted to cut your skin off and wear it with his weener tucked under like a woman. It puts the lotion on it’s skin OPTIMUS it put’s the lotion on it’s skin or else it gets the hose again. Anyway i’m a big fan of you and AUDIODEVIANTS keep up the good work.

Well, believe it or not, I too was pissed off with some idiots, long time ago, when I was on other sites (before) and when I started coming here…
You’re quite new here, so you cannot know about all the mess happened to me and my friend Yogosan, very long ago, because of a psychopath (I think DOOM knows what I’m talking about)… he was literally obsessed with us (only because we were considered the best theme makers and soon we became points of reference for nearly all users here) and he did nothing but create chaos, even going so far as to insult and to throw $*it on us (and this site) not only here but also on other sites, hoping to wipe out us, our works and our reputation as well. But after some wars, we realized that the more we faced his attacks the more the situation got worse… so, we understood that the only real weapon to use simply was to ignore him entirely.
And so we did for all the others.
That’s what I mean: I know that idiots/trolls/haters make you pissed off, and you’d really like to send them back to the hole they came from, but keep in mind that for every idiot defeated, there will always be 10 others around the corner.
Instead, the best thing you can do is ignore them all, because remember: if people appreciate you, idiots may come and go… but you’ll always be here!

the merging of these two things is so atomized with raw man power that wemen everywhere will buckle at the knees and drool instantaneously. liquid based elements will turn to cold beer, and clint eastwood will become president of the united states. …or it could destroy the universe. be careful! lol
that was risky merging those two deathsyphon, the metaclorian and optimus’s matrix could have torn a hole in the fabric of reality… its like N unstopable force meeting N unmovable object, i belive that it could make a ridiculously powerful hero or cause N extinction level event.
@OPTIMUS Yeah i’ve been designing since the first theme app back in the day. Personally I’ve always understood that if your putting your work up there people are gonna judge it better or worse. Some guys are experienced enough to have constructive crit, some are just trolls and to the trolls out there if you can do better then do it haters. Is my view childish? Maybe but i’m totally cool with that and raging out sometimes feels good i’m all about going Decepticon on some fools. C’mon Luke use the darkside of the force. Uh-Oh did I just reference Transformers and Star Wars all in one? I think I did God i’m awesome lol.

-DeathSyphon66: I can understand what you mean, mate, but… as I explained to Devilush (and someone else), all are free to express their opinions here, by voting or commenting our works, in order to make us know what they really think about our themes: that’s why the rating and commenting systems are there.
As for the comments (unless they’re useless and childish insults)… taking constructive criticism as a way to understand what we did wrong and where we can improve, simply means to be mature enough to accept advice by other artists (who often are more experienced than us) and to be open minded toward other ways of thinking.
As a long-standing themer, I always encouraged both newcomers and experts, by giving advice or even by proposing new ideas and ways on how to create something, and I fully understand that a criticism (constructive or not) may be boring…
You know, when I joined this site, I already had a lot of experience and I was more than sure to be an expert… but what other users liked on other sites, was often not appreciated here. So, when I often got negative comments (and even insults) I quickly realized that actually I was nobody here, and I had to restart everything from scratch pushing myself doing better and better. That’s because I understood that many of the negative comments were not only unfair dislikes to me and my works, but real advice on those things that much likely needed to be changed, so that I could improve my themes and consequently the appreciation from users.
So, as I said, I perfectly understand that a criticism might be boring (or in some cases, it may even seem humiliating, especially when you spent a lot of time to create something), but you have to consider it as a way to improve because very often, those who criticize your work, do it because they actually appreciate what you’ve created, but maybe they would appreciate it even more if it was done in another way, or simply adding something they would like to see in your theme.
Well, it’s just a matter of point of view, of course: then, it’s obvious that each one of us is endowed with free will, which means he’s free to follow an advice or continue on his way…

LOL @DeathSyphon66. I get what you mean, but this time he received criticizm from some good theme creators. I myself wasn’t being negative with my criticism. I know we put a lot of time and care into our themes and sometimes we may miss something that adds that last bit of perfection. That’s how I like to receive criticism and I’ve made changes to some of my themes based off of that. AUDIODEVIANT knows that I wasn’t trying to be a d*ck.

I always wanna tell people things like “I appreciate your criticism but if you think you can do better please feel free. Or, you don’t like my AC theme’s well one day when your not a total F-ing retard you can make your own, oh that’s right you can’t that’s why your downloading mine instead of making your own you butt pounding douchebag. I HOPE YOUR WHOLE FAMILY DIES FROM YOU SUCKING SO BAD THEY KILL THEMSELVES BY DRINKING THE RELIGIOUS PURPLE KOOL-AID. Rage out my brother it feels good

dude i was just giving my opinion on what you can do if you’d like .. you can leave it as it is because its your theme and regardless its still good .. dont flip out and get all defensive/sensitive relax.. and actually we’re not wrong at all the loop is clearly there but again its not a big deal .. and btw “…layering with textures .. and converting them to screen mode ,so stuff can come thru it from under it…” is called making it see through… anyway its just helpful criticism.. dont take it the wrong way we’re just telling you our opinion on what we saw.. we’re not bashing your theme so dont get offended.
@AUDIODEVIANT: Don’t know… it also seems to me there’s something strange in your theme (or maybe it’s just my busted brain :P) but I think it’s because of the multiple effects you’ve put together.
But to me, it doesn’t affect the quality of your work, anyway… Instead, it makes it particular!

it can always be improved and i want your input truly and yes the src_1.png, your right i didnt test it as much as i should have and i noticed that earlier thanks bud .. but it looks like i wont be making themes anymore .. its a short story no one to blame but myself!
@AUDIODEVIANT You seem to be a little upset that we noticed an inconsistency in your theme. I thought the point of constructive criticism was so we can improve. I criticized some stuff because you make quality themes and I thought this was one of your better ones, so I thought you can take it. Ultimately, it’s your creation. If YOU feel that there’s nothing to improve then that is what matters. I wasn’t trying to offend you. We’re all on the same team here
PS: The src_1.png would look better filled in so the notifications are more visible (especially when using the browser). Just my opinion.
@jaydee1003 thanks guy .. look the flag is fine it has a layered texture over it and under it that is set to screen and overlay so the flag can come thru it when the flag moves the texture is reveld the loops is fine i know this because i increased the flag speed so its animation fitted the 15 frames so no offence guys but your wrong .. and conner is not see thru !! its is called layering with textures .. and converting them to screen mode ,so stuff can come thru it from under it !! thanks for your comment ,

i agree with ultra .. the flag isn’t seamless you can definitely see the loop.. and connor seems to be see through a little, you can see the flag moving through him.. either way you still did a great job

Review : One of the best AC3 Theme that i ever seen on PS3-Themes, the flag & the character moving an the logo is fantastic.
XD anyways keep up the good work dude , you did really a good job spending time making this theme.
