  1. I was wondering where you got the wallpaper of Miranda sitting on the Normandy with the Illusive Man’s planet in the back? I would really enjoy having just that pic as my wallpaper..

  2. Hello all. Sorry for the really late reply, I go a long time without checking up on my themes, and apparently I’ve lost track of time. Two months so soon? Wow. Anyway. Firstly I’ll say I never actually considered making a theme of Normandy itself… Though now that you bring it up, I might look in on that later in the week, maybe. If time allows. It could be a mix between EDI and Normandy, since the two are the same kinda. A dynamic one would be great, but I’m not sure I could find the source material of it. Maybe one of Normandy’s loading screen where its constantly flying off into DoctorWho space lol. I’ll look in on it later, maybe theres something.

Next, sorry if there are cut-off SD backgrounds. I don’t have an SD television (or a television at all considering I play through my computer monitor, weird I know) so I had no way to really test any of the SD wallpapers out. I do at least, for the most part, play with the the themes on my PS3 a bit to make sure I didn’t make some horrible mistake. But since my ‘tv’ is HD, this only works for the HD wallpapers. I apologize.

Also, 2ply, you’re welcome to post any altered form of this theme that you see fit, I don’t mind. I made these more of fans of Mass Effect than I did for myself, as I’ve been using my Dynamic ME3 theme ever since I made it, with the occasional N7 Shepard.

Considered doing a Mass Effect (not 2, the first game) version with some Liara, Wrex and Kaiden. But chances are most PS3 players won’t really have a connection with any of them since Mass Effect was never and never will be released on PS3. Well, I’ll shut up now before this rambles on more. 🙂

  3. I know i’m not alone on having an SD tv on here, so if anyone is interested I made a strictly SD version of this theme with a some new backgrounds.

I’ll upload it if Madgod says it’s ok.

I of course will take no credit, since all I did was make a few different 640×480 backgrounds with ME2 logo to better suit an SDtv.

  4. On second thought could you please make a dynamic theme of the Cerberus SSV Normandy SR2 flying in space. Thanx!!! Sorry for all the messages. I saw your dynamic themes and downloaded some of them. They are awesome!!! Thanx again!!!

  5. Not really digging the cut off SD backgrounds :\ But I guess I can just apply my own wallpapers to it.

I do like the icons though.

  6. Perhaps, probably go with a basic, simple red color theme, it’d suit Omega. There’s only like three pictures I have that are like that, however. I’d have to do a search. Im sure I could find around 6-7 suitable pictures that would work for it. We’ll see. If there is even one person interested in seeing it, its worth looking into. So Dave, I will look into it, promise. First though I need to finish off this collection I’ve started. Garrus should be up in a day or two. Then I work on Shepard. I was thinking a Default Shepard version and a Masked Shepard. Masked would only have a few wallpapers, but it could work, since not everyone uses default Shepard so having him wearing his N7 helmet would make it easier for people to picture it as their Shepard. I don’t think I’ll make a ME2 Femshep theme, though; not enough to work with. But I can definitely make a Mass Effect 3 Femshep. Just like my Shepard V2, it could have two wallpapers and that little smoke effect going on down the screen or something. Then I can make Afterlife and the ME3 teaser themes. Should be exciting. 😀
Bit of a shameless plug, but if you want feel free to check out my blog (just click on my name) where I post /all/ my created themes the moment I make them. In some cases they’re on my blog a week or two before PS3-Themes gets them, but for the most part its only between 3-4 days. But I do keep all the themes updated. Example, some of my older older older themes here are… well, old. May not support all the icons. So I made that blog to basically just keep them all up to date. If a new firmware comes out that adds a new icon or something, you can bet that I’ll have every theme I’ve made updated to that firmware within the week. :p

  7. Hm, you think so? I have doubts. A theme based around her “ASSet” doesn’t sound like it was ever meant to be tasteful. Regardless, I found some pretty decent fanarts online that could translate into a future “Adult” ME2 theme. Could call it… Mass Effect 2 – Afterlife… Here’s one of the three wallpapers, so you get the idea. WARNING – NSFW (breast are exposed) http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p216/frightfulactions/DA_2.jpg

Rather or not I’ll actually make such a theme, Im unsure of. I still need to get Shepard out of the way, plus a Femshep Dynamic theme… then Mass Effect 3 teaser theme filled with game screenshots released for it.

As for where I find my wallpapers, I use Google Image Search for some, but the majority come from talented artists from sites like DeviantArt. In a very rare few occasions I do edit the picture a bit, make it follow a certain color scheme, maybe darken it up, give it some shadow, or just make it fit the 1080 aspect ratio. But of the most part, they’re all untouched.

The only thing I create in my themes are the icons, all the wallpapers, unless mentioned otherwise, are created by others far more talented and gifted than myself. I couldn’t name specific artists Im afraid, however. Simply too many wallpapers in too many themes to possibly keep track.

My theme wallpapers range from being fantastic fanart, to normal in-game screenshots that I felt looked nice. Pretty much all the Jacob one’s were in-game screenshots. He’s not a popular character, other than the meme.

And lol, sorry for the long reply. I tend to ramble on sometimes. :p

  8. Dave:

Been waiting for the Miranda theme
You should make one that highlights her best ASSet!

It was considered during the making of this theme – I certainly had more than enough wallpaper options available. Infact, for me at least, finding ‘tasteful’ wallpapers was the biggest challenge of this theme. While having suggestive Miranda pics would definitely up the page views, making such a theme would feel a bit tasteless in comparison to other ME2 themes I’ve made. Wanted to be respectful to the character, for the sake of fans. Personally I wouldn’t care – I don’t like Miranda one way or another. Perhaps when I am done with my ME2 lineup, I can produce something a bit more PG-13/M… “Mass Effect – Fornax Edition Theme” haha. Could be worth the giggle, though it’d be depressing seeing how many more page views it’d likely get simply because it promises tits and ass. Eh, welcome to society. :p
