Well, I saw that there were not many Max Payne 3 themes up, and the game is due to release next week, so I thought I’d post one.
There is one small problem though. The Chat (Text Only) icon, for some reason appears as stock grey. I did what I do every time, but this time around, it just wouldn’t show. I went to Icon Manager, I even used an icon from a previous theme, but nothing worked. So, excuse me for that, when you are in a chat and writing you will see this ugly, grey, stock icon…. eh :-/

@DemiGod7: No problem, mate, I did it already and… opening the xml file, I found the “normal” chat room, but I didn’t find any trace of the “chat room text” ID or name.
There should be:
(for the icon name) Chat Room Text
(for the icon ID) icon_chatroom_text
but I didn’t find any of them.
I think that’s the reason why there’s the default icon instead of the customized one… 😉
@lisa: That’s because Faxtron probably forgot to put that icon, or maybe because he uses another type of compiler (the same thing happened when we made “The NeverEnding Story” theme, but that time I noticed it before uploading the theme so we had the chance to recompile it…) 😛
If you download my “SSX Static” version, you’ll surely find the icon in its place.
As for the resolution values I need… well, I’ll try to ask directly to Faxtron as soon as I can 😉

Hmm….I guess I’ll find out next time. If I make another theme and this happens again, then either I am doing something wrong, or something is changing during the compile. No need to waste your time on my theme, I can do that. You got oher stuff to do, apparently more important too…so, no worries, I’ll figure it out eventually.

@lisa: Well, 16:9 is just the image format (widescreen)… what I really need to know is the image resolution, which means: “how many pixels” (horizontal) X “how many pixels” (vertical) 😛
hey opti i saw u asked fax for the res he needs to fix the theme. it needs to fix exactly a 16:9 tv 24”.
Even so….why? I did the usual stuff, why now and never before on the 5-6 different themes I made? It doesn’t make any sense.

Hey… welcome back, mate! Well, I cannot see the various chat icons because I never connected my PS3 to internet 😛 So, I decompiled your theme and… yes, the grey icon is there. That means it doesn’t depend on your PS3 and it’s not a problem related to displaying stuff or to the firmware. Maybe it’s just because that icon has not been implemented correctly while creating the theme… I think you should check the theme’s xml file (or the icon itself by opening it with a graphic program) But it doesn’t matter, because your theme is good anyway!
