Anyway, I remember this for sure: at the beginning of the simulation there’s a girl with a red jacket (a female coach or a teacher, I think) that asks you which club you’d like to join.
Well, the clubs are organized according to the various activities they do. I can’t exactly remember everything, but there are baseball, soccer, volleyball, sumo as well as art, music, science and so on…
Well, starting to play this simulator for the first time can be “terrible” I know, so the only thing to do at the beginning is to experiment everything, trying to remember the choices already done in order to vary them for the next times you’ll play the simulator…
oh man thanks a looooooooot!!!
Yeah for the school simulator I understand… But again it’s not easy… You have to create your character first xD I don’t understand $h!t !!!
But that would help a lot thanks!
Well, I know, but… don’t worry, bro: since I always bought japanese games, I never really had big problems with that language (well, I’m not an “ace” anyway… :P) so, here is the translation!
1) School Simulator mode
2) Story mode (the standard beat’em up)
3) Versus mode
4) League mode (challenge to be the #1)
5) Team Battle mode
6) Tournament mode
7) Double Player mode which contains:
opt. #1-the ’99 edition divided in 2 parts: in part 1 you have to hit the opponent avoiding his fireballs. In part 2 you have to block the opponent’s attack 9 times (if I remember correctly)
opt. #2-normal learning mode like the first Rival Schools
10) Mini Games that you already know (the last option is the “watch mode” if I’m not wrong)
11) Edit mode: you have to finish the school simulator at least one time to unlock this mode and edit your own character.
12) Items Shop: you can buy the bonus objects (and there’s also the PocketStation mode, but it’s useless of course…) or you can buy the secret characters which are:
-Natsu & Tiffany with uniform
-Kyoko without skirt
-Hinata with volleyball suite
If I remember correctly, to select them you have to highlight their slot and then press start button.
13) Memory card: load, save, autosave
14) General Options which are:
-CPU difficulty level
-Damage level
-Timer
-Rounds (CPU)
-Rounds (VS)
-CPU round character change
-Player character change when continue
-Vibrations ON/OFF
-Sound
-Game system (defend fall, auto guard, etc…)
-Button settings
-Default
-Exit
As for the school simulator: well, obviously I can’t translate everything (I would need two whole sites to do that… :P) but I can tell you that is not so difficult to play: thanks to the illustrated scenes is quite easy guessing what to do…
I need to ask you something, in Shiritsu Justice Gakuen 2, is there some way to collect and see the loading screens in any gallery?
Cause I know with some points you can buy cards and videos but… I need those wallpapers! ;-(
Well, the only way is to play… and play… and play using all the characters, making new records, trying different tag teams, watching all the endings and so on…
BUT you also have to play the “school simulator” several times, in order to unlock (or gain access to) new items to buy.
Also, there are some items which can be unlocked only in a special condition: when you enter the items shop there’s always a girl, right? But you have to pay more attention, because sometimes an OLD LADY appears… and she sells special objects at very low cost (for example the CD icon which allows to play all the soundtracks, or rare posters)
Just better than the first one! Solid!

Don’t mention it! I’m just sorry it doesn’t fully worked.
Indeed. It has a very user friendly interface, easy to use and quick enough: no time wastings with strange menus or stuff like that, just put the icons where they should go.
Also, if I remember correctly, it has an internal WAV to VAG converter (but I’m not 100% sure about that, though because I usually create sounds by myself using another program).
Anyway, if you wanna try what I told you about the new icons, just let me know: it’s more easy to do than to explain.
Ah… I’m tired of this. But thanks for all your help man, I guess that now, I should try to learn how to use it! It looks simple and very well made.
It’s because part of the code (reserved for the icon manager tool) needs to have elevated permission by the OS to work in Windows 7 environment: that’s because when you add new icons using that tool, you’re practically editing the XML file of the program, but Windows Vista and 7 are really bastards when it comes of permissions…
Oh, man! I’m really sorry for that!
But… at least we tried.
Well, there would be another way to have the new icons ready: first of all, you should make a backup of the XML file inside PS3 Theme Builder, then you should delete it and replace with another (I’ve compiled one when Mike had this problem)
However, the important is that your “brand new Theme Builder” works now (considering that it’s just a beta version): at least, you can keep using it until the complete version will be out.
Ok thanks. It works now I can create and save themes. But what’s wrong with this icon manager? :-/
Well, MSVCP71.dll is a runtime library: if you’ve found and downloaded it, then you just need to place it in /Windows/System32 folder.
Yes of course.
And the program works but, when I click “create” it says:
GimConv.exe – System Error
MSVCP71.dll is missing on your computer.
I’ve found that dll but I don’t know how and where to install it.
Whaaat? Oh, man! Maybe you’re one of those few unlucky guys, I’m afraid…
But it’s strange: Mike has the very same OS and it worked perfectly, even the icon manager tool that allowed him to finally add the new icons!
And it also worked for AdyP and the others…
Mmm… are you sure the previous 2.5 version you already have IS the “full install” version?
And: do you have NET Framework 2.0 or higher installed?
No… nothing happens.
Veeeeeery good! Ok, run the program, then click on TOOLS==>LAUNCH ICON MANAGER: a new window should appear…
Yes it works. Well it looks like
Good!
Did you run Theme Builder already?
Ok thanks… It’s done.
Yep… as explained in the post, better if you make a backup of the original files, then delete them and copy the 4.0 Beta content.
Once you’ve done, we’ll pass to phase 2…
Ok just askin before I make a mistake… Do I have to erase what’s in the file before putting the 4.0 content?
Mmm… as I supposed.
Ok, what do you have: 2.5 “upgrade only” or 2.5 “full install” ?
Anyway, here is the “miraculous” procedure I told to Mike and the others…
1) go to “lili-chan.com” site downloads section: if you already have 2.5 “full install”, just download 3.0 “upgrade only” (otherwise, download both) [but do not install them for now]
2) now, you need to get access to Theme Builder 4.0 Beta files. To do so, you have to register first, then go to “Support” ===> “Official Lili-Chan Theme Builder Discussion & Support” ===> “Theme Builder v3.0 Bug Reports”
Now, go to PAGE 7: in the 2nd post (by SBCroix) there’s an attachment which contains the 4.0 Beta files. READ CAREFULLY the post before using those files!
You now simply have to install 2.5 “full install” (if you don’t have it) then 3.0 “upgrade only” and finally replace 3.0 files with the 4.0 Beta ones (as explained in the post mentioned before)
Ok, bro: do this for now and then let me know!
Yep 2.5…
Oh, yeah! I know it!
About Theme Builder…
Well, Mike12888 had the same problem (always because of Windows 7: damn you, Microsoft! :P) so I helped him and Theme Builder worked perfectly.
Although Theme Builder was programmed to run on XP, there are some ways to make it work: they’re not always 100% guaranteed, but for Mike (and the others I helped) it worked immediately and well.
So, which version of Theme Builder you have?
2.5, I suppose…
I used the epsexe emulator, it allows you to catch a full screen pressing f10.
Sorry for the new icons but I can’t put them, I use the ps3 theme creator, cause I never could install the lily-chan theme builder and use it. Sad but true… There’s no update for the PS3 theme creator about now…
I don’t really know…
Hey, Shadow, I have to tell you 2 things, anyway: one good and one bad (but useful :D)
1-(good) how the hell did you manage to take those game images???
I have a program which allows me to extract images directly from games, but I couldn’t do nothing with Rival Schools…
2-(bad but useful) the theme is awesome, but you forgot to put the new icons…
So tell me what you think >.<
…and, by the way: 5 “Rival” stars!
…and here is what I was expecting!
Thanks a lot, bro!!!
Hahaha! I’m really glad that you appreciate!

It’s already hard to navigate in the menu…
I can’t read kanjis and katakanas >.< lmao

-3.0 “upgrade only” = done;
