Plz don’t stop making animated themes. Your work is top notch.
Creating custom themes isn’t hurting Sony’s pockets. They make more revenue from software & hardware sales.

It’s obvious that this is a grey area and technically we’re not allowed to make these themes. I’m just wondering how much does sony care and would they ever take action against it.

WOW just seen your post and your not creating anymore. I ask why?
Sony create about 10% of the themes on the store the rest are done by the game devs or other puplishers like smobile and distruptive puplishers (very cool themes BTW).
Don’t quit take your time and keep up the good work fella 🙂

You’re wrong, we’re not blocked.
And the latest change in the firmware wasn’t to stop user generated animated themes but just a side effect of a change they made to be sure themes don’t use up too much memory.

oh…i see. sony knows their losing money. let’s face it home made themes are better than getting the ones from the psn store. but that shouldn’t stop you.
