someone was looking for a coffee theme, you could make or just cut out the shape of coffee beans and arrange them in the shape of the icons, that would be easy enough. i’ll could make an icon 2 show you what i mean. the best way is to try to make icon that go with the flow of things, like that modnation one i linked before, that was the starting point for my my modnation theme. unfortunately there is no easy way around making custom icons.
GOOD! But the last time you told us you had a great idea: you could start with that.
You know, inspiration cannot be “inspired”… 😛 However, as I told you in your Random theme, well… when I don’t have concrete ideas, I usually do something abstract. In addition, the abstract genre is a good starting base to make practice and it has the good effect to stimulate the imagination. Anyway, you could also try to make a theme for a game: just find some suitable images, then you start thinking a style for the icons (something that mixes well with the backgrounds) and finally you begin to create.
It’s not difficult, just free your imagination… “amaze me”! 😀

no i’m the bad one, i made a thme with a creature with breasts and and long hair, with a bottle of champagne , its clearly a girls gone wild reference. i’v turned to the dark side. in my next theme she’ll be wearing nothing but a champagne bubble bra, puttin the botttle in her………..mouth….:)
@TheDude- You know, I could agree with you somehow: see the 360 controller icon in a PS3 theme can be annoying for a PlayStation fan… BUT you have to consider that although it may look like the 360 device, actually it’s just the stylized image of a controller, nothing more nothing less.
You’ll agree with me when I say that a well made theme like this cannot be invalidated by a single icon just because it looks like the 360 controller, right?
For this reason I say that it’s useless to point out the fact and that it would be really sad to rebuild the theme just for this…

yeah its amazing, and eventhough many things look like GTA it’s very different! I just love the random occuring events and the the stranger missions 😀
49,2% of the game completed, and i’ve played for over 17 hours! It really is a great game and i strongly recommend everyone reading this comment to go out and buy the game 😀

Hey, Dahl! I’m near the end, I think 🙁 Surely 60%: I finally reached the only civilized city, Blackwater in the Great Plains region, but I think there’s still a lot of stuff to do.
This game’s incredible, the attention to details is obsessive: you can realize that a storm is coming just seeing the clouds in the distance and hearing the wind becomes stronger gradually, or you can understand if there’s a dangerous animal nearby simply watching the behaviour of your horse!
I never thought it could be so addictive! O_O
Certainly, I’ll play it again, but next time I’ll be a BAD GRINGO… 😛

i must have said this a million times bastart, you need to set your tv to scan instead of 16:9. i think people always notice it on my themes because i always text in the corners. set your tv to scan et voila! if you cant find the option in menu>display> then it might be on your remote.
@Dude-if it means that much i’ll do it, i personally dont think it looks like a 360 pad but i guess if you take away the buttons then maybe, i always figured it just looked like a general controller shape. i’ll upload it to turboimagehost soon………. sometimes i forget i do this for free!! 😀

Well, surely you’re new here, otherwise you’d know that Yogosan used the same icon in other themes, but no one has ever complained about this. And do you know why? Because we’re just PlayStation fans who simply like to create and share their themes without worrying that a damn icon may look like the 360 controller…
You know, I’m a fan since the day that Ken Kutaragi invented the first PlayStation (and in 1994 I even went to Japan to buy the console at day 1) but I don’t care if a simple icon represents something that has nothing to do with the PlayStation world, because I know that a theme is something unique made just for my console, something that 360 owners will never have.
I can understand your point of view, but let me tell you that it’s useless to raise a fuss for this reason (and this is not even the right place) so… just enjoy the theme thinking ONLY that this is an EXCLUSIVE feature for your console. 😀
However, if you really hate that icon with all your strength… well, it’s just your problem and the only thing I can do is suggest you to find P3Textractor in order to decompile the theme file, replace the icon and rebuild the theme as you like (which would be really sad…)!
I’d do it my self but don’t really know the program you use. I make my own themes. I just don’t share them cuz I’m greedy like that. No, I’m just a perfectionist & I never think anything I do is good enuff to share with the world LOL. But really- How the hell could you not know that’s a 360 controller? Dude, don’t be surprised if you see an updated version of your theme with the correct system controller on here. If I ever get around to doing it & feel like sharing it. Your work is greatly appreciated. The Icons are fantastic, even if they didn’t turn out as planned. I’m also incredibly grateful for there being a “Minis” icon included in this them (as most people forget to add it).

i think the neon icons work well. they actually took a long time. there is no option in FWcs3 to add a multi-colour glow effect so i had to flatten all the layers and fill em separately. i was gonna do a diamond bling effect for the home row icons and they looked cool, but they didn’t fit in with the rest of the theme.
